How much does it cost to hire Curtis Watts for an event in NYC?
Pricing depends on how long you’d like him to play, whether it’s Curtis solo or with additional musicians or his samba band and dancers, your event location, and any travel involved. Because every event is different, Curtis puts together a custom quote rather than a flat rate. Send your date, location, and what you have in mind, and he’ll get back to you with a quote, usually within 24 hours.
Does Curtis provide his own equipment?
Yes. Curtis brings a full drum and percussion setup, plus solo hand and stick drums that he wears and plays while moving through the crowd, with an LED light setup for extra atmosphere. He can perform alongside your DJ or play between sets if you’ve hired a band.
Does Curtis perform outside New York City?
Curtis is based in NYC and regularly performs across the tri-state area, including Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He also travels nationwide for events, so reach out even if you’re outside the area.
How far in advance should I book Curtis?
The earlier the better, especially for peak wedding and holiday-season dates, which book up fast. If your date is coming up soon, still reach out, since Curtis will let you know right away whether he’s available.
