CLASSES are held in two semesters: from September to mid-December
and mid-January to late June at P.S. 234 in the cafeteria area from
6-8pm for percussionists and dancers.
Directions:
P.S. 234 is on the southwest corner of Greenwich St. and Chambers.
Take the 1,2, 3 or 9 train to CHAMBERS ST. Walking one block west
on Chambers (toward the river) will put you on Chambers & Greenwich.
The A, C, E train -- if travelling downtown -- get in the last car
(the first car if travelling from south of Chambers or Brooklyn)
to the CHAMBERS ST. stop. Walk 2 blocks west on Chambers -- you're
just one block east of where you get out of the 1,2,3,9 trains.
If you take the 4,5,6 -- get off at CITY HALL/BROOKLYN BRIDGE. Go
north to Chambers St. and go west on Chambers St. (toward the highway & river)
to Greenwich St.
When you get to Greenwich, you'll see across the street on the south
side of Chambers -- the fenced-in schoolyard. Go to the entrance
to the left of the schoolyard -- the red door. Remember -- it's the
south side of Chambers.
